Welcome to Idiot Box, a directory of shrines focusing on TV (and movies) created in the west. Although I've seen quite the thriving online shrining communities for both anime/manga and video games, English media doesn't seem to get the same love. But I thought "they must be out there!" and thus I set out to gather links to any and all that I could find.

February 20, 2010: I've got another new affiliate today - the wonderful anime and manga directory Viva Rock!, so please go check it out!

This little directory is also growing slowly but surely, and I've added another link to an amazing shrine to Duncan MacLeod from Highlander, Hold Fast! It's nice to see some of the older shows being represented!

And remember, if you know of any shrines that aren't listed here please help my directory grow by submitting them!

Before you fill out the form, please keep in mind the following rules:

① The shrine must be about a character from an English language TV program or movie.
② Shrines about both live action and animated programs are accepted.
③ It must be a 'shrine.' General news/gossip/community sites are not accepted.
④ Fanlistings are allowed only if there's sufficient shrine content (i.e. more than one page).
⑤ The shrine can focus on an individual, couple, group, etc.
⑥ Shrines need to focus on the fictional characters and not the actors playing them.
⑦ A link back is not required but very much appreciated. Buttons etc. can be found here.

And who am I? Just a girl who loves TV perhaps a little too much. Some of my favourite shows are Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NewsRadio, Futurama, Supernatural, Torchwood, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. My favourite movie is without a doubt The Princess Bride.
